We are presently looking to add a dynamic and experienced HVAC Operations/Administration Manager to our team. As the manager of operations and business administration manager, it will be your duty to establish and sustain solid working relationships to all our clients while representing our company. Improving business performance, ensuring safety and compliance, and offering technical know-how and direction to our HVAC employees will be your main priorities.

An outline of the position:

· Represent the company to our clients and fostering a productive working environment through consistent communication.
· Determine ways to enhance the performance of the business and offer suggestions.
· Verify adherence to the guidelines for essential safety measures.
· Organize employees and contractors and keep an eye on their compliance and performance.
· Help in creating the operational and capital budgets.
· Provide our HVAC employees technical know-how and direction.
· Availability for on-call and after-hours emergencies is required.
· Keep an eye out for and fix issues related to the smooth running of equipment, machinery, and plants.
· Make routine inspections and assemble thorough reports.
· Organize the repair of an emergency breakdown.
· Help in creating maintenance and servicing contracts.
· Keep site logbooks, electronic records, and relevant papers up to date.
· Manage, estimate, and propose service contracts.
· Procure parts and materials to organise things before scheduled project starts.
· Oversee maintenance, repairs, and operational difficulties within predetermined budgetary constraints.

Job description:

Our company is looking for a candidate to fulfil the position of an Airconditioning and Refrigeration mechanic.

The suitable employee will be undertaking the following tasks:

Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to determine job requirements and establish installation reference points.
Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets, and cutting, bending, and threading piping as required for system installation.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration components including compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, gauges, and copper piping used for steam, gas, refrigerant, compressed air, oil, and chilled water systems.
Connecting pipes and equipment through bolting, soldering, riveting, welding, and brazing, while ensuring proper alignment and accurate fitting.
Charging systems with gas or fluids to test for leaks and ensure system integrity.
Conducting operational testing of refrigeration systems, inspecting mechanisms, and making necessary adjustments.
Removing testing gases and fluids using vacuum pumps and recharging systems with refrigerant.
Inspecting and servicing refrigeration systems, diagnosing faults, and repairing or replacing defective components.
Adjusting system controls and mechanical components and reassembling systems after maintenance or repairs.
Maintaining records of system malfunctions, including the causes identified and corrective actions taken.

Requirements:

- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV or;
- At least three years of relevant experience
- Punctual
- Driver's licence
